Conhecendo Le6BMEETING LE6B
Ao se deparar com Le6B, uma das primeiras coisas a serem notadas é a magnitude do edifício e as inúmeras janelas que evidenciam muitas áreas quadradas ocupadas, ou seja, muitas produções em constante ebulição.
One of the first things we notice when coming across Le6B is the greatness of the building and its numerous windows showing a wide area of many inhabited square feet, many productions constantly boiling.
This intense capacity of creation may be perceived and appreciated while visiting some offices and ateliers on the sixth (and top) floor at Le6B, like the one of Dorothee Caradec, the artist who was responsible for the poster to the event Fabrique à Rêves, on which we are going to participate with photo and video exhibition of project Últimos Refúgios.
In a meeting with Julian Beller and Gonzague Lacombe, from collectif Exyzt, also on the sixth floor, we talked about Le6B and collective Exyzt, we learned more about the works of residents on architecture, arts, design, fashion and other activities.
The building is also a home for many professionals of further areas like cooks, who prepare the meals, and amplifier makers, who have built the sound system on the first floor.
Wood architecture is often seen at the common area, an outdoor space on the back of the building, – bleachers, a stage, food court and a kitchen with a wood-fired oven, setting a scenario that resembles a little amphitheater with a cafeteria of common use.

A intensa atividade de criação pode ser percebida e apreciada ao visitar alguns escritórios e atelier no sexto (e último) andar do Le6B, como o da artista Dorothee Caradec, responsável pela produção do cartaz do evento Fabrique à Rêves, em que participaremos com exposição fotográfica e audiovisual do projeto Últimos Refúgios.
Em reunião com Julian Beller e Gonzague Lacombe, do collectif Exyzt, localizado também no sexto andar, conversamos sobre a proposta do Le 6B, do coletivo Exyzt, conhecendo mais sobre os trabalhos que os residentes realizam em arquitetura, arte, design, moda, e outras atividades complementares.
O prédio também abriga diversos profissionais de áreas mais distintas, ao exemplo dos cozinheiros que preparam as refeições, e construtores de amplificadores, que produziram o sistema de som do cinema localizado no primeiro andar.
Outra prática da arquitetura são as ‘instalações efêmeras’. Esse conceito de construção é muito praticada pelo 6B e também pelo collectif Exyzt. Utilizando madeira realizadas na área de uso comum – um espaço ao ar livre atrás do edifício – constituída por arquibancadas, palco para apresentações, área para refeições e cozinha com forno a lenha, que remetem a um pequeno anfiteatro anexado a uma cantina de uso coletivo. Parte dessa instalação pode ser vista ao final do vídeo, produzido pelo coletivo Expurgação nesses primeiros dias de estadia em Saint-Denis.
